Swift Entertainment
Swift Entertainment is a small hobby business located in the South East that puts party services in touch with people. My friend needed a simple website that could convey his accessible services in a bright and fun way. He also needed potential customers to be able to contact him easily via a simple web form.
URL Re-Writing / Friendly URLs (Mod-Rewrite)
To help my friend avoid spending large amounts of money on paid advertising, we opted to target two particular areas of the site, Magician Hire and Limo hire. To help get good search engine rankings, we used various SEO methods throught these static pages and combined the power of URL re-writing to add extra SEO weight to each page.
Easy Site Expansion
To allow my friend to grow his website, we used simple HTML/CSS throughout the site and also used some basic templating methods to keep the site structure simple. This is a commmon design standard of Code Revolution, allowing you to take control of your website at any time and make changes without having to figure out any over-complicated coding standards.
Magical Orlandlo Holiday Villa
The Magical Orlando website was a creation I did for a family friend with the intent on providing her a useful portal to promote the rental of her Florida Villa.
The key to this site was to convey the beautiful pictures of the villa along with information on how to book the villa, facilities, rental costs and availability. We used a simple booking calender system to show the dates the villa ia available and provided the client with an administration system to change those dates.
CJs Cupcake Creations
Our client asked us to create a website for a small startup business that sells cupcakes that are delivered throughout the Essex area. The remit was simple, make our cupcakes look as delicious as possible!
Picture Galleries
The success of this site was all about conveying the actual pictures taken by the customer of their various cupcake products. We built on this idea by integrating several image galleries throughout the site, one on the homepage using standard Javascript libraries. The second one, a flash gallery looping through several different images.
Pricing Guide
Another core area of the cupcake site was the pricing guide and product page. Our client wanted a way to display all of the various cupcake designs they sell along with an accurate indication of price. We built on this idea by laying out each cupcake with a high quality photo and a description and price alongside it. You can take a look by clicking here.
Impact DJs Trance Music Podcast & Blog
This site is a personal site of mine which I run and maintain for leasure reasons. As I am keenly into Dance music and specifically Trance, I run a weekly ITunes podcast and blog commenting on the Trance music scene.
I have listed the site here as Code Revolution done some custom wordpress template work on this site as well as ensuring the site remains eye-catching a reader friendly.
A&P Construction Ltd
A&P Construction Ltd is a local Southend on Sea company that provide carpentry and roofing solutions throughout Essex. The reason they came to use is because their customers were repeatedly suggesting that they invest in a website to allow them to display some of the photos of their work.
Taking this into consideration, Code Revolution built them a website allowing them to display their own photos on the site with a lightbox app that causes the photos to pop up in the centre of the screen. We also ensured they had a full contact form system including anti-spam measures to stop junk being sent through their contact form.
